‘Littlies’ Commissions
I really enjoy drawing my young daughter. She gets up to all sorts of crazy nonsense, loves dressing up, playing and is always on the go. Drawings of her live mainly in my sketchbooks and as a character in my Picture Book ideas. But I also love drawing her as gifts for our family members.
And I would love to do this for you too!
I use pencil and water colour to create delicately observed studies, with the intent on capturing unique treasured moments, illustrating the innocence and vibrancy for life that our little humans have.
I will possibly only be offering these custom portrait commissions for a limited time.
Please feel free to browse through my ‘Littlies Illustration Studies’ portfolio below and my Price List, or fill out my handy little Commission Enquiry Form.

Framing Service
Framing and/or mounting can be arranged. I use a local framing service to myself to make bespoke frames and double mounts. We can discuss your preferences and I can arrange a separate quote for this. The framers will then take care of the packaging and posting of your framed artwork.
Alternatively, I can personally frame your piece for you with an ‘off the shelf’ frame. This is also an additional cost, but would be cheaper than a bespoke made frame.
Printing Service
I will provide a high quality version of each of your artworks purchased which you are welcome to make prints/cards/gifts from for your own personal use. If you would like my help in creating more than one copy of your artwork I can provide high quality Giclée Fine Art prints for an additional cost. These prints will be hand embossed and signed by myself.
What images to send?
Images with clear focus on the eyes/face, as this is where I put much of my focus.
Images that are a clear portrait of the little one I’ll be painting, where they are close enough to the camera for me to see details.
Ideas for if you are sending pictures for multiple portraits:
A selection of images of different facial expressions, outfits, costumes, accessories is a lot of fun. But also, a selection that are linked is a nice way to explore a particular memory. For example, an activity, event, prop, toy, outfit, day out. If you have any ideas, I would be excited to hear them. Similarly, I am also more than happy to take the reins and make suggestions for what I think could work best.
Images need to be of the highest dpi you have and to be files of the original photos and not screenshot from a phone.
How to order your portrait and the process:
You can either send me a message through my Contact page, fill out the enquiry form, email me at hannahcamarra@gmail.com or contact me through my Instagram account @hanacam with a little bit of information about who you would like to have a portrait of.
I will aim to get back to you within a couple of working days.
Reference imagery is best sent via email, be of the highest dpi you have and to be files of the original photos and not screenshot from a phone. A selection of images is preferred. We can work out together which would work best for the portrait(s).

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for all commissions and to be paid by bank transfer or Paypal.
I will jump straight into the final piece in order to maintain a free and loose style. When I feel I have begun to create something that I feel happy with, I will send photos taken in natural light and a small file scan for you to see. Sometimes this is at a point where I feel it could be finished, but this would be up to yourself to give a final approval. I am always more than happy to make adjustments where we feel they need them or try a new piece if its not quite right. The most important thing to me is that you are happy!
Once you are happy, the final monies will be required and then I will package and post your portrait out to you (or hand deliver if you are local).
Commissions will be hand signed and embossed.
I will also probably be quite nosey following this to make sure your portrait has arrived safely.
I then hope for portrait to bring you lots of smiles and joy!
Postage
UK Postage will be included for all unframed/unmounted commissions and will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.

For international delivery there will be an additional cost. Please contact me with your location and I will let you know how much this will be. It should be between £15 and £39.
Disclaimer: I unfortunately cannot control, or be held responsible for how long your parcel will sit within customs, or if there will be any additional cost. Although parcels have made it through, with our recent global events over the past few years, there have been some delays within customs for some countries.
Disclaimers:
I reserve the right to change these prices at any time. However once you have secured your commission with your deposit, you will not be affected by any price increase.
Please be aware that I work gesturally and often messily, embracing the behaviour of medium I am working with, often painting with unconventional tools. Although I take extra care with commissions, there may be little paint splats/smudges on original artworks, but I like to think this adds a little charm.
Once we have decided on the main reference image and the artwork has been started, this image cannot be changed.
If you have any questions or would like to book a commission you can either send me a message through my Contact page, fill out the enquiry form, email me at hannahcamarra@gmail.com or contact me through my Instagram account @hanacam.
